Looks like the little bit of good news put the indexes up today. Volume picked up later in the day, so it's a solid rally. Bad news for me, good news over all? Still a lot of very stuff out there. The housing report was nice, maybe it will take hold with prices and mortgages so cheap, but then even cheap doesn't do any good if your unemployed and don't have any money. Lots of people in the world in just that situation. Another big lay off from Ratheon announced today in the town where I live. Bit if think things are going to get better in the next 6 months, by all means, ride the Bull, I would. I have the feeling a lot of shenanigans are going to be going on. Lots of lies, revised reports, broken promises, ect, ect.
Could just be I'm bitter cause I lost today.
The drug industry putting out good news did my TEVA puts in. Didn't quite reach my stop at 43, but if it countinues tomorrow, I'm toast. Volume was strong today which is a good sign for long positions.
SSO was a strong mover today, naturally as it follows the S$P. I was in and out a few times for some small profits to make up for DUG and TEVA. Over all I lost today, not much, but I stuck to my rules and that's a good thing. That's a good step for me, as when I break them for whatever reason, it's generally to my disadvantage. Remember mistakes are to learned from and not repeated. I'm holding SSO puts overnight.
I am watching TTEK lately and still like a hawk. Was waiting to see if it might form a handle from the daily cup that formed, but seems it decided to break through, and on decent volume. Depending on market direction tomorrow I may try and get in. It's down a little AH.
And TEVA is up, go figure.
Tomorrow will be a big day, as we are above 8000 again, but not by much. So I'll wait to make any decisions.
