I'm all wet

Haven't a clue what happened yesterday. One minute I was rolling along, happy as a clam, and in less than an hour, for no apparent reason, everything turned around and upside down. The markets were rallying crazily. Searching frantically for some news to help explain this catastrophe while the web was eerily quiet I began to get a little panicky. What to do. Never do anything without a reason. So I did nothing.

Retail, WTF was that. So everyone is shopping at Walmart cause their broke. So what? No one is buying anything fun.

Late morning, before the Gods frowned on me, I shorted a little GD and was viciously stopped out early afternoon. Also bought some march GIS puts at around 0. Faired OK there, but not nearly enough to save my wretched ass. Stopped out of TEVO for a significant loss. DUG and SSO march puts both came close, but missed the stops, so I held over night as I am all out of day trades.

I am headed into today holding GIS march puts, SSO March puts and to much DUG.

Today I'm watching DSX and shipping. Could have closed the gap yesterday and started to before the insanity. Closed above my resistance line yesterday.

Lots of chatter about China lately, so I'll see if I can make some sense of it.

Other than that and watching leaders, I'll wait for all the data today and play off that

Gave back last two days in gains.
