For me, I'm short today XLE and I followed http://www.alphatrends.blogspot.com/ into shorting QCOM. So far both are preforming as expected, but that doesn't mean anything, really. I sold DUG Friday to be flat into the weekend, too bad, but again, this is a crazy market. I was in and out of CY today for a wasted day trade. Only 1 left so I'll be going into tomorrow with what I'm holding now.
Watch lists, I have many watch lists. Everything right now for me is day by day, waiting for what kind of shenanigans the government is going to pull. What lies their going to tell, and then you have to figure out what lies the market is going to believe.
I personally think Sweden had the best answer by taking the banks into the government, fixing them and selling them back to the private sector. I'm afraid though we don't have a chance of successfully doing that here. Our Government is to corrupt and more importantly to inept to tend to the business of the country. I mean, the leader of the house giving YOUR money (in a round about politician sort of way) to a tiny island South of Hawaii for the sole purpose of enriching herself (her husband actually) while your country falls apart around you. Pitiful. Something has got to be done. Get involved and help to change, because this certainly isn't the change we can believe in.
I hate politicians.
