Frustrations Abound

I can not stand politicians, absolutely can not. Way to much energy invested in that, but the hypocrisy, the lies, the outright flagrant misuse of public money (tax dollars) drive me to distraction. It's one of those rare things that "if you don't like it, change it" that you can't. Sure you can vote, and that counts, but even if you vote one out, the next one gets a taste of that power and that's it. Even if in the beginning there really were good intentions. Another thing, they may hate each other, fight and squabble, talk about each other bad, but if something comes along like a different party, or God forbid an honest politician, and threatens their way of life, you'd be shocked how fast they come together to protect it. Don't fool yourself into thinking they give a care about you or your country. They think of no one or nothing but themselves and their way of life. Sure they talk about Lincoln, throw names around like Jefferson, Franklin and Adams, but trust me, there is no comparison what so ever. Those were men who struggled and fought with heart for your country. These guys now a days are just smucks, getting rich off of your, the taxpayers, back.

I'm not a member of either of these two party's we have in this country. So I say with out criticism to one or the other in paticular, did hear that guy today say they had written and passed this stimulus bill with no earmarks, and with a straight face.

I sold my DUG calls midday for a profit. Still holding STEM and bought some AUY calls this morning for some gold exposure, although in hind sight I'm not so sure that was a good idea.

In and out of FAS today for a small loss and a wasted day trade.

Tomorrow I am considering getting back into NFLX. Still a strong stock, down today, of course, but volume wasn't that great. DXO is another one I'm considering to buy and just stick in a folder somewhere. The Saudis aren't going to put up with this much longer and America is never going to wean off at these prices.

I went fishing in Canada to a lake like this. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever been. Fly in and land on the lake. No cars or trucks. Very cool.
